Begin your culinary journey on Thursday evening with our fourth annual BBQ and bourbon mashup in one of the Lowcountry’s most beautiful venues, Mingo Point. Meet and sip on exclusive bourbons with Julian Van Winkle of Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery, or enjoy other rare small-batch bourbons or bourbon cocktails prepared by celebrated local mixologists. Over savory bites you’ll mingle with some of the south’s most renowned Pitmasters from Rodney Scott’s BBQ, Home Team BBQ, Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q, Swig & Swine and Kiawah’s own Cherrywood BBQ & Ale House. Dance the night away to tunes from The Bluestone Ramblers, a local favorite bluegrass band.

It’s a Big Easy masquerade as New Orleans is relocating to Kiawah Island! The Link Restaurant Group of NOLA is taking over The Ocean Room for an evening of culinary bliss. Savor this elegant black-tie dining experience with James Beard Award Winning Chefs Donald Link (Best Chef: South 2007), Ryan Prewitt (Best Chef: South 2014), Stephen Stryjewski (Best Chef: South 2011), and Rebecca Wilcomb (Best Chef: South 2017). Chef Wilcomb will be showcasing flavors from her new Italian restaurant paired with world class wines from Frederick Corriher Wines. Following dinner, enjoy a scotch and whiskey nightcap in the lounge presented by The Local Palate.

James Beard Best Chef: Southwest 2016 nominee and proud cancer survivor, Chef Steve McHugh of San Antonio, TX is packing his knives and traveling to The Ocean Room for an afternoon of exquisite culinary demonstrations. His multi-course luncheon will be perfectly paired with exceptional varietals from Robert Biale Vineyards, Napa Valley’s premier Zinfandel and Petite Syrah winery.
